The story so far...

“It all started with the search for a ski jumper”

After many years of skiing in Switzerland I realized that there was a need for stylish jumpers and base layers to wear under a ski jacket.

I found that I was loving the beautiful jackets that I had and felt amazing when I was actually on the slopes, but as soon as I took my jacket off at lunchtime or in the apres ski bar, all I had was a rather unattractive sports top. When I tried to find the type of ski jumpers that I wanted to wear, they were nowhere to be seen, so I decided to make my own. Snow Finel was born.

I have always prided myself on being a purely British brand – the jumpers are designed by me and manufactured in the UK. The unique look combining luxury merino wool, signature zips and embroidery, effortlessly take mountain action to apres ski fun. Merino wool was the obvious choice as it allows the body to naturally regulate its temperature during exercise. Soft and seamless, Snow Finel garments can be combined to ensure the perfect match for all ski conditions.

It is very important to me that all our Snow Finel garments are made in the UK. I am always keen to support British business and I am committed to a sustainable approach to manufacturing. I never really considered having the jumpers made anywhere else. I want Snow Finel to have real integrity and I am proud to say that I have established great working relationships with the staff in the factories I use in the UK.

Starting from small beginnings, the Snow Finel range has grown and evolved through listening to what customers want and through unique product development tested on the slopes by the Snow Finel team. The range now includes base layers, mid layers, tanks, gilets and a classic ski jumpers. Perfect for stylish skiers on and off the slopes.
